βWhat's your favorite arcade game?β
Question of the day by Julianne Chute

Ice cold beer! What a wacky one
Love playing Megaman. It is lots of fun and have memories playing it with my mom!
Mine probably is Pac Man. A classic! Shout out to donkey kong and tetris though!

Pacman
I can't choose. I love tetris, frogger, pac man, centipede, donkey kong, space invaders, joust, mazogs... such good memories and, oh yeah, no stupid ads in between levels!

Odk if this counts but skeeball! (Idk the name for sure but the one where you toss the ball into the holes)

Pacman
Please do a dinosaur theme! ππ¦
Pinball is great
Galaga

Tetris?
Mortal Kombat
Street Fighter 3
what the

Suzuka 8 Hours, with the ride-on bikes.

I actually really like playing the DDR machines at modern arcades, but I really love the good ol' classic pinball machines.
Mine probably is Pac Man. A classic! Shout out to donkey kong and tetris though!
My favorite arcade game is Pacman because it is fun and frogger too.

This is so basic but I LOOOVE a classic Pinball

Q-bert!! Today's puzzles were great! Thanks for the throw back!
Skeeball or Ms. Pacman

Video Poker!!
classic pinball

Gotta go with the classic, donkey kong

I loved throwing pepper to freeze the walking eggman in Burgertime. Until a quick search just now, I didn't know Chef Peter Pepper was my name in the game!

Q-Bert

Pac Man and Galaga! I'm an 80s kid ππππ©·

Honestly, I LOVED today's theme! I have always loved going to the arcade and playing the games for hours. I enjoy all of the classics: Asteroids, Pac-Man, Pong, Pinball, Burger Time, Tapper, Frogger, Street Fighter, Duck Hunt, etc.
Me too!!

Killer Instinct!

NFL Blitz
Punisher.

Mortal Combat π

Galaga ate a lot of my quarters back in the day.
Pac-Man a forever classic, if I see at a arcade imma go! And also, tomorrow's theme should be Choregraphy or Dance related because tomorrow International Choreographers' Day
I love Ms. Pacman and Pacman Jr. and Burgertime.
I grew up on pac-man and donkey kong
day one of asking for a marvel themed month, Lil Marvels

heritage for the future

On a side note, can you bring back Lil Nations? Or make it available for purchase with coins cause I really want the Canadian flag β€οΈ
UGANDA

Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Crus'n USA

720` πΉ πΉ πΉ xXxπxXx
Mortal Kombat

Pinball, also please make Pickle go away

Awwwww, for Scattergories I got to use my favorite pet - hedgehog!! We've had 2, free-range, and they are the most delightful little pet. The dogs and cats learn FAST to leave them alone, or get prickled π
my pups got me a baby one and put it in my bed in the middle of the night - I moved it out the way to then remove it in the morning - but the next day couldn't find it so thought I had hallucinated the whole thing - 2 days later baby hedgehog reappeared in my bed again in the middle of the night

Theme Thursday suggestions: Rom-Coms, slang through the ages, iconic brands, horses, Hitchcock movies, The Walking Dead, Sitcoms.

Back in Atari days there was a game called Dreadnought Factor that was the best! Sonic II and Crash Bandicoot were also bomb.
Day 6 of asking for a birthday theme for my birthday on January 1st
Recently, I got to go to a real arcade and play old school frogger which has been one of my favs since I played it as a kid on the Xbox 360...also day 3 of asking for a dinosaur theme on my bday nov 12 (or maybe hire me to make it ππ»ππ»)

Anyone remember the Seinfeld episode where George grabbed the old Frogger game from an arcade?
Yes I absolutely agree!!

'Battlezone' with its 3D vector graphics, and realistic track controllers! I also loved 'Adventure' on the original Atari 2600 and the easter egg room made by the designer, Warren Robinette.

I just realized that the Atari 2600 isn't exactly an arcade game, but it was close... Especially for someone who didn't have a sack full of quarters to drop at the *actual* arcade π.
My absolute favorite is Baby Pac-Man. It's Pac-Man, it's pinball, and it's unique! It's also pretty hard, but I fully recommend playing it anyway!

Of course Ms Pacman the town I grew up in was a small town but it had amusement park and I was 14 years old when Ms Pac-Man came out. The good old days
PacMan

If Skee-Ball counts, I have a favorite.
House of the Dead
Skiball Pac-Man & Q*bert

Frogger will always have a place in my heart but I played it in my gameboy. Pac-Man is the real goat

@IloveLeonbergers I forgot to mention (days ago now, when the discussion turned to psych thrillers) have you read an Icelandic author named Yrsa Sigurdardottir? I think she writes some of the best psychic and crime thrillers out there today. Definitely give her a try!

Damn autocorrect! That should be "psych and crime," not 'psychic' SMH

I will add to my list thank you!!
Theme Suggestion: Music!!! Any type & genre except metal.
Super Mario Bros!!! Classic.

WHAT IS YOUR THEME THURSDAY SUGGESTION?

Ok, so I'm going with the unlisted standard 'Theme Thursday' question. - - - my suggestion is Card Games. Not just standard deck ones like poker, blackjack, solitaire, etc. But also for the bonus use special deck ones like Uno, Phase 10, Skip-bo, and Pinochle (not that I know that one). β£οΈ

Oh or maybe dice games for the bonus, like Yahtzee. Wait? What? Is that the only dice game I know? π€

Thereβs also Tenzi, and idk if this counts but thereβs Shut the Box

Oooo good idea don't forget crazy eights like the only one I know haha

Tenzi is SO fun!

Farkle is another fun dice game!

Pinball, but I was terrible at it - TILT!
Super Mario Bros

best quiz for ages this. need more like this

Pinball!!! Addams family, medieval madness, sopranos, so many more!!!

I loved a game called Bart Simpson vs the space mutants. Also Paper Boy.

pinball!!! i always love playing it whether at an arcade or on the computer!

ddr is super fun but i was too young at its peak to properly enjoy it!

Try Zaccariah Pinball, it's real good pinball emulator on PC
Probably PAC MAN so, like if you like it

Centipede
Rush Sanfransico 2040
Mortal Kombat!
I've never played any arcade games , I get migraines so I just stayed away from them.
Frogger
Crystal Castles and air hockey!

SINISTAR

DDR is one of my favorites! Unfortunately arcades are not such a thing in Europe :(

Where in Europe are there no arcades? I live in the UK and we have them and also played in arcades in a few other European countries.
Yes, where in Europe? Google "retro directory" and that should help you find out where your nearest arcade is. There's probably some travel time involved but they aren't as obscure as many think.

Tetris

tetris is one of my favorite games! ive sadly never played the arcade version before though!
I love Tetris!!
The clawwwww!! π½

PAC-MAN! "waka waka waka" π»π

Nice to know that for once the aging are not neglected...and for my generation, the likeliest prompts are "Contra" and "Mustafa" (Cadillacs and Dinosaurs), but I was always more of a Tekken/MK player, though I did enjoy Tapper whenever I could find it...

Cadillacs & Dinosaurs is so underrated for a CAPCOM Beat 'em up.
I'm a diehard Tekken player - could explain the arthritis in my hands
Perfection at Dave n busters lol
